The 2020 vintage from Duplessis captures the essence of Montée de Tonnerre—arguably Chablis' most revered Premier Cru. Pale gold in the glass, it opens with notes of white flower, crushed oyster shell, lemon zest, and flint on the nose. On the palate, the wine is impeccably balanced, showcasing mineral backbone wrapped in layers of green apple, citrus peel, and a hint of hazelnut (from partial oak aging). A classic, age-worthy Chablis that beautifully reflects the pedigree of its terroir.
